Box Score Shippensburg, PA – Salem University women's basketball fell on Sunday evening against Shippensburg University 103-67.
Daniela Quesada led the scoring for the Tigers with 16 followed by Liliani Krause with 12 and both Aleena Mongerie and Allysa McRae with 11. Ixsamar Gonzalez led the Tigers with nine rebounds with Kendra Stanford and Krause adding seven.
Salem fell behind early before Gonzalez got the scoring started for the Tigers three minutes in with a putback layup. Shippensburg went on a run late in the quarter to go into the second ahead 36-15. The Tigers cut the Raiders lead to 16 midway through the second quarter after Nerea Arambarri Fernandez forced the turnover and scored two, but could not get any closer the remainder of the game.
