Morgantown, WV- Salem University Women's Water Polo took down Gannon University and Mercyhurst University on Saturday in a tournament the Tigers are hosting at Mylan Park Aquatic Center in Morgantown. Salem extended their win streak to six games.
In game one of the day, Salem took down Gannon 21-16. Salem was lead by
Annefleur ten Bloemendal with four goals, while
Chloe Woodbine and
Taeghen Hack added three goals.
Salem came back in the evening for game two where they bested Mercyhurst 12-9. Salem held off a 4-0 run in by the Lakers in the fourth quarter. Bloemendal added five goals to her impressive day.
Salem will be back in action tomorrow at 10 AM vs Mckendree and 4 PM vs VMI.
