Morgantown, WV- Women's Water Polo extended their win streak to eight games on Sunday with wins over Mckendree and Virginia Military Institute. The Tigers improved their record to 12-9 on the season.
In game one of the day versus McKendree, the Tigers won 17-9, building a 9-4 lead at halftime and never looking back.
Annefleur ten Bloemendal had a game high five goals, while
Philippa Piper added 18 saves in goal.
Despite being slightly outscored in the second half of game two of the day, the Tigers took down VMI 22-14.
Chloe Woodbine led the team with a weekend game high of six goals.
Salem Women's Water Polo will return to action next weekend traveling to the University of Michigan.
