Lewisburg, PA - Men's Water Polo completed day one of the Bucknell Invitational dropping two against Wagner College and St. Francis College Brooklyn, both division one programs.
Game One:
The Tigers fell 19-13 against Wagner College in game one.
Nikola Krstonosic and
Chad Rowley both had three goals and one assist. Carson Hick contributed two goals and one assist.
Petar Leontijevic,
Mike Diaz,
Ivan Zivojinovic,
Blake Wind, and
Reabetswe Theledi each had one goal a piece.
Julen Alonso had 13 saves and one steal on the day.
Game Two:
Five Tigers combined for the nine goals in their 20-9 loss against St. Francis Brooklyn. Zivojinovic led the way with four goals and one assist with Krstonosic following with two goals and two assists. Rowley, Manuel Soto and Leontijevic each had one goal in game two.
Goncalo Silva contributed 15 saves and two steals.
"Both of these teams are nationally ranked and are very well coached. We could have given up when we were down but these guys kept fighting and im proud of them for that" said head coach
