How It Happened

• Makhia Hinton led the Tigers with six kills with Deyaneira Gomez – Salgado adding eight digs on the night.
• The Tigers were down early in the first set but were able to bring it within two after a kill by Alycia Rivera to make it 10-8.
• The Tigers attempted a late rally started by Hinton with a kill but were not able to climb back, losing the first set 25-18.
• Rivera started set two with a kill to get Salem on the board early, but quickly fell behind 17-9.
• The Tigers later scored three consecutive points off of a kill by Lenka Jakovljevic and two miscues by the Battlers but dropped the set 25-14.
• Danielle Burns brought the Tigers within two off of a kill to make the score 14-12 in set three.
• The Tigers scored four in a row late in the set led by a kill from Rivera before falling 25-19.
