Erie, PA- Salem University men's water polo traveled to Erie, PA to compete in their first weekend of conference play. The Tigers went 3-1 on the weekend to give them a 2-1 conference record.
Game one
The Tigers started out the weekend with a 15-7 win over Penn State Behrend.
Petar Leontijevic and
Chad Rowley both scored three for the Tigers with
Nikola Krstonosic and
Carson Hicks contributing two.
Misha Holtzkamp,
Manuel Soto Estela,
Saequan Miller,
Blake Wind, and
Reabetswe Theledi each added one for the Tigers.
Game two
The Tigers lost a close match against Gannon University 18-15 to start off day two. Krstonosic netted four for the Tigers followed by Rowley,
Ivan Zivojinovic, and Hicks with two apiece. Soto, Wind and
Greyson Campbell each added one in the scoring column.
Game three
The Tigers bounced back in the second game of the day on Saturday to come away with a 17-9 win against Mercyhurst University. Zivojinovic led the Tigers with five with Krstonosic and Hicks adding two. Soto,
Mike Diaz and
Ethan Hinz rounded out the scoring with one each.
Game four
The Tigers finished the weekend strong with a 16-9 victory over Washington and Jefferson College. Eight Tigers contributed to the scoring led by Zivojinovic and Miller with three each. Rowley, Diaz, Hicks, and Holtzkamp added two apiece with Leontijevic and Campbell putting up one.
Julen Alonso had 15 saves in the final game of the weekend.

While the Tigers have the weekend off from competition play, they will host their Alumni Game on Saturday.
