Salem, WV - Salem University Interim Athletic Director Alex Joseph announced the hire of Ashley Rasnake as the new Sports Information Director for the Tigers

Over the past year and a half Rasnake has worked as a graduate assistant for the athletics department while completing her Master of Business Administration in Sports and Recreational Management. During her time at Salem University, Rasnake has proved incredibly valuable to the athletic department.

"We are very excited to have Ashley join the Tigers family full-time and look forward to her leading and directing the Sports Information department. This past year Ashley has shown her passion for the Division II student-athlete and I believe all of our programs will truly benefit from her work here at the university" said Joseph.

Rasnake arrived at Salem University in Fall of 2020 after graduating from Bluefield State College where she earned her degree in Regents Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in special education. While at BSC she served as the team captain for the big blue's softball team all four years of her collegiate career.
