Lebanon, IL – Salem University Water Polo traveled to Lebanon Illinois to compete in their first weekend of conference play.
In game one, the Tigers took down Mercyhurst University 15-8. Heather Lock and Chloe Woodbine came away with five goals each. Annefleur ten Bloemendal and Margherita Garibbo had two apiece and Erin Zappia contributed one. Tiger Goalie Philippa Piper had 13 saves on 21 total shots with one assist.
Game two, the Tigers took down McKendree University 17-9. Bloemendal dominated with seven goals, one assist and three steals. Garibbo and Lock had three goals with Woodbine, Taeghen Hack, Zappia, and Shemiyah Ross with one. Piper came away with 11 saves on 20 shots with one assist and one steal.
In the final game of the weekend, the Tigers defeated Gannon University 12-7. Bloemendal led the Tigers with six goals and three steals. Garibbo added three with Courtney O'Shaughnessy, Lock and Zappia adding one. Piper had eight saves on 15 shots with one assist.
