Ann Arbor, MI – Salem University Water Polo fell to Wagner College 15-9 in the 2022 NCAA water polo tournament.
Both teams scored three going into the second period, but Wagner took the 6-5 advantage going into the half. Wagner began to pull away in the third outscoring the Tigers 4-2 and 5-2 in the fourth.
Annefleur ten Bloemendal and Chloe Woodbine led the scoring for the Tigers with three apiece with Courtney O'Shaughnessy, Erin Zappia and Shemiyah Ross rounding out the scoring with one each.
Goalie Philippa Piper had 13 saves throughout the game with three steals.
