GREENEVILLE, South Carolina - Just as the Conference Carolinas has released the pre-season poll for men's swimming, the women's swimming preseason poll was also released by the conference. The Salem women's swimmers were voted to finish 8th in the conference for the upcoming season. 

Much like the men's side of the conference, Emmanuel College was picked for a first place finish. Salem is primed to make a splash this season however as they have a young and energetic group of swimmers that should exceed expectations. On top of that youth, there are some key returners that made big contributions last season such as Lauren Platz and Shayla Smith. 

Just as the men's team will get the season kicked off in October, the women's program will also kick off the season in Morgantown at the West Virginia State Games on October 14th and 15th.
