GROVE CITY, Pennsylvania – The women's water polo team travelled to Grove City, PA on Thursday afternoon for a three-game tournament at the Grove City invite last weekend. The tigers matched up against Penn State Behrend, Washington & Jefferson and Grove City. The tigers went 3-0 during the weekend with convincing leads over all three division III teams.

Their first match on Friday was against Penn State Behrend where the tigers opened up the first quarter scoring 5 goals PSB's  3. For the remainder of the game PSB was only able to put in 2 more goals whilst the tigers scored 28 overall – leaving the final score 5-28 to the tigers.
Courtney Repinz,
Shemiyah Ross and
Iris Oudshoorn all scored 4 goals for the tigers.
Emma Halle,
Claudia Cziernawski and Courtney O' Shaughnessy each tallied 3 goals,
Morgan Riordan and
Sierra Maze netted 2 for Salem,
Faith Stewart and
Keri Brooks rounded out the team scoring a goal each.

The second game of the weekend took place Saturday against Washington & Jefferson in which the tigers scored 17 Goals to W&J's 7.
Iris Oudshoorn and Courtney O' Shaughnessy each scored 4 goals in the game, Shamiyah Ross behind them netted 2 goals.
Emma Halle, Kerri Brooks, Alexis Kilgore,
Claudia Cziernawski,
Morgan Riordan,
Jojo DeSalvo and
Emma Donnelly each put up a goal to the tigers.

For the tigers final game of the weekend they faced the home team Grove City where they scored 17 goals to Grove City's 3. In this game
Keri Brooks scored a team high 3 goals.

Next weekend the tigers will head to Michigan where they will face off against Marist College, the University of Michigan and San Jose State University.
