Box Score 2 Last weekend the women's water polo team traveled to Ann Arbor, Michigan to compete against three division one schools at the University of Michigan Invite. Their opening game on Saturday was against the home team Michigan who are currently ranked 12
th in the nation for division I. Courtney O' Shaughnessy scored 2 goals for the tiger, on in the first and second quarter and
Sierra Maze tallied an assist in the game.
Keri Brooks and O' Shaughnessy each drew 2 exclusions and
Claudia Cziernawski drew one. The tigers were unable to take down the wolverines and lost 2-18.
Their second game on Sunday against Saint Francis University they had a much better offensive performance but went down 8-16.
Keri Brooks netted 2 goals and had one drawn exclusion. Courtney O' Shaughnessy tallied 2 goals one assist and 2 drawn exclusions.

Jojo DeSalvo and
Abigail Hopkins all put one goal on the board and
Lorelai Weaver had a total of 12 saves in the game. This was a great effort for the tigers but not enough to overcome SFU's offence.
In Salem's last game against #20 San Jose State University the tigers went down 7-23. Courtney O' Shaughnessy tallied 2 goals and 1 drawn exclusion.
Courtney Repinz had 1 goal and 1 assist.
Faith Stewart tallied 2 assists,
Shemiyah Ross netted one goal.
Claudia Cziernawski had one goal, 2 assists and one drawn exclusion.
Jojo DeSalvo had 1 goal and two drawn exclusions and Emma Donnelley rounded out the team with one goal.
This weekend showed a great effort from the tigers who were up against top 20 ranked teams in the nation. Next week they will be travelling to Arizona State University to take on more tough competition such as Marist College, Harvard University and ASU themselves.
