SALEM, West Virginia - While the final moments of the 2022 Salem men's water polo season have long since past, the Tigers still have some hardware to add to their impressive championship season. However, this time, it is for their efforts in the classroom, not in the pool. The Tigers placed 15 student Athletes onto the CWPA All-Academic List, and finished 8th nationally among men's water polo programs in team GPA. The players selected were as follows:Â

As a unit, the Tigers finished the season with a team GPA of 3.52, and finished 8th nationally ahead of NCAA Division I programs such as California, Fordham, Wagner, and George Washington. The Salem Athletic Department would like to congratulate our Tigers for this accomplishment, and all thier hard work in the classroom as they prepare for thier 2023 fall campaign.Â
