The Tiger tennis squad has been busy as the transition from winter to spring has begun. Over the past three weeks, Salem has been traveling all over greater West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania getting back into the swing of tennis season.

The Tiger's first matchup of the month came against Bloomberg where Salem went 2-5 in a losing effort on the day. Erna Brdarevic and Lina Ziani claimed the Tiger's two wins in singles play. Salem was also able to claim one of the doubles sets on Bloomberg thanks to the pairing of Ziani and Dasha Korsakova.

Following their matchup against Bloomsberg Salem hit the road for Buckhannon, WV to take on the Davis & Elkins Senators. Salem would come away from the match with a 4-3 win in enemy territory. Brdarevic and Ziani combined for a doubles win as did Korsakova and Kylie Diaz to get the Tigers off to a hot start. Salem continued their success into the singles portion of play when Brdarevic, Diaz, and Ziani all took home wins.

Next up for the Tigers was another road contest. This time against Ashland University in Ohio. It was tough sledding for the Tigers in this one. Their lone win on the afternoon was brought to them by Diaz.

Salem took their talents to West Virginia Wesleyan for their next matchup of the season. Once again the Tigers struggled to string together wins after having success against Davis & Elkins. The Tigers went 1-6 on the afternoon with their lone win coming at the hands of Diaz.

The Tigers rounded out their recent road trip at the University of Charleston where Salem came home winless.
