SALEM, West Virginia - With the final contest of Salem men's water polo season in the rearview, the Tigers still have some hardware to add to their highly competitive season. However, this time, it is for their efforts in the classroom, not in the pool. The Tigers placed 11 student Athletes onto the ACWPC All-Academic List, and finished 2nd nationally among men's water polo programs in team GPA. The players selected were as follows:

Antonio Sablic
Duarte Costa
Goncalo Silva
Ivan Zivojinovic
JD Fenner
Marko Zivojinovic
Marko Jovanovic
Nikola Krstonosic
Fernando Gomez
Manuel Soto Estela
Tristan McKay

As a unit, the Tigers finished the season with a team GPA of 3.71, and finished 2nd nationally, just behind Johns Hopkins. The Salem Athletic Department would like to congratulate our Tigers for this accomplishment, and all their hard work in the classroom as they prepare for their 2024 fall campaign.
