SALEM, West Virginia - The Salem University Athletic Department extends its sincere gratitude to Brent Walters, who recently concluded his tenure as Head Athletic Trainer after several years of dedicated service to Tiger student-athletes.

Walters has been a vital part of Salem Athletics, overseeing the health, safety, and rehabilitation of hundreds of student-athletes across all of the university's varsity programs. His commitment to providing high-quality care, building strong relationships with coaches and players, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism has left a lasting impact on the department.

In addition to his work on the sidelines and in the training room, Walters played an instrumental role in expanding Salem's sports medicine operations, improving injury prevention protocols, and mentoring student athletic trainers and interns. His expertise and calm presence were valued by student-athletes and colleagues alike.
