Salem controlled the tempo throughout a tightly contested matchup and sealed the win with a strong fourth-quarter push.
Marko Zivojinovic headlined the Tigers' performance with a dominant six-goal outing, showcasing his scoring touch and playmaking presence. He was backed by key contributions from Antonio Sablic and Samson Hurey, who each added two goals to fuel Salem's attack.
The Tigers opened with a 4–3 lead after the first quarter and maintained their composure as the game tightened. In the final period, Salem's offense surged once more, creating the separation needed to secure the victory.
Goalkeeper Mateja Cerovic anchored the defense with seven saves, delivering timely stops that helped Salem hold off McKendree's late push.
