Salem Women's Basketball Unveils 2025-2026 Slate

SALEM, W.Va. – Salem University women's basketball is set for another exciting season as the Tigers announced their 2025-26 schedule, featuring a challenging non-conference slate, key home matchups, and a ton of exciting action coming to T. Edward Davis Gymnasium.

The Tigers open the campaign November 14-15 at the Regional Tipoff in West Chester, Pa., facing host West Chester University of Pennsylvania on Friday before meeting Kutztown University on Saturday. Salem will then head to Huntington for an exhibition contest against Division I Marshall University on November 18, which will air on ESPN+.

Home fans will get their first look at the Tigers on November 20 when Salem hosts West Virginia University Institute of Technology at T. Edward Davis Gymnasium. That contest, along with several other home games this season, will be broadcast locally on WGIE 92.7 FM. The Tigers remain home November 23 to battle Central Pennsylvania College before hitting the road for three of their next four contests, including a December 3 trip to West Liberty and a December 10 visit to Davis & Elkins.

The month of December also features marquee home matchups with Wheeling (Dec. 6), West Virginia Wesleyan (Dec. 13), and Glenville State (Dec. 17), before closing the calendar year with a Dec. 31 exhibition at Youngstown State, another NCAA Division I opponent.

The new year begins with a January 3 road game at Concord University, followed by a balanced conference schedule that includes home tilts against West Virginia State (Jan. 7), Fairmont State (Jan. 17), Davis & Elkins (Jan. 31), Concord (Feb. 4), Charleston (Feb. 11), Frostburg State (Feb. 18), West Liberty (Feb. 25), and Point Park (Feb. 28).

Salem will also travel to conference foes Charleston, Frostburg State, Wheeling, West Virginia Wesleyan, Glenville State, Fairmont State, and West Virginia State, along with a non-conference road contest at Ohio Christian on February 16.
