SALEM, West Virginia - In preparation for the spring of 2026, the Salem Softball program under the direction of Head Coach Steve Potts is excited to introduce the newest additions to the Salem Tiger program. Each new signee is profiled below:

Lila Grimm -Â Salem University Softball announces the first of their total of 10 signees for the 2025-2026 year, Lila Grimm. Lila is from Beaver, Pennsylvania and played Varsity for 4 years at Black Hawk High School. She has played travel ball for 8 years, as well as kept over a 4.0 weighted GPA and honor roll her entire four years. Lila will major in physical and exercise science.
Layla McClung -Â The next signee of the 2025-2026 year is Layla McClung. Layla is from Hermitage, Pennsylvania and was a 4 year Varsity letter for Hickory High School. She was MVP her Freshman and Junior year. Additionally, she was nominated district 10 All Star her Junior and Senior years. Layla was on the Honor Roll all four years and has played travel ball for 6 years total. Layla will major in Criminal Justice.Â
MaKenna Curran -Â The next signee is MaKenna Curran. She is from Salem, West Virginia. MaKenna joins the Tigers from California University of Pennsylvania. She graduated from Doddridge County High School, where she was a 4 year starter and finished High School with over 1,000 career strikeouts, while holding a 1.63 ERA. While at California University of Pennsylvania, MaKenna was a PSAC Scholar Athlete and Dean's List. She will major in Nursing.Â
Ali Shreve -Â The next signee is Ali Shrieve. Ali Shrieve was a 3 year Varsity letter from Bloomingdale, Ohio. She was an all OVAC 4A and 1st Team Eastern D3 and D5, 1st Team All Ohio D3, OVAC All-Star, and East District AS. Ali was team captain her Junior and Senior year. She played for Keystone Kombat and will major in Biology.Â
Ali Jacobs -Â The next signee is Ali Jacobs, an incoming freshman from Carmichaels, Pennsylvania. Ali has played softball for 13 years, played for Smash Fastpitch 18U and carried a 4.2 GPA. She was a 4 year Varsity starter for Carmichaels Area High School. Additionally, she was All-County for 4 years, All-Section and All-State for 2 years, and Big Time Softball Top 60.Â
Kelsey Park -Â Â Kelsey is from Morgantown, West Virginia. Kelsey has played softball since she was 6 years old. She was a 4 year Varsity starter at University High School. She was selected to the 2025 WVSSAC State AAAA softball All-Conference Team. She was a WVSSAC 2024 AAAA State Softball Champion, as well.
Jacobi Gledhill -Â The next signee is Jacobi Gledhill. Jacobi is from North Las Vegas, Nevada. She made 2nd team All-Conference her Senior year, 1st team All-Conference her Junior and Sophomore year, 2nd team All-SouNV her Senior year, and 1st team her Junior and Sophomore year. Jacobi played for the Lil' Rebels Vegas and will major in Bio-Physiology and Exercise Science.
Alyssa Shultz -Â The next signee for the 2025-2026 season is Alyssa Shultz. Alyssa is from Foster, West Virginia. She was All-Boone county and 2x Caldwell insurance player of the week. Alyssa was a three year starter at Scott High School and has been playing travel ball for 9 years. She will major in Exercise Science and Physiology.
Addie King -Â Addie is from Nevada City, California. She has been playing softball since she was 10, and has been a Varsity starter all four years. Addie received an MVP award and was a team captain during her Junior and Senior year. She was an All-Conference, All-County, and All-State athlete and played for the NorCal Bombers Gold 18U Kilgore. Addie will major in Nursing.Â
Olivia See -Â Olivia See is from Salem, West Virginia and played at Doddridge County High School. She was 1st Team All-Conference her Freshman and Senior year, 2nd team her Junior Year, and 1st team All-State during her Senior year. Olivia was a 4 year starter for Doddridge County and will major in Criminal Justice.
