The Salem University Tigers swim team competed in the Eastern College Athletic Conference Winter Championships over the weekend, with the men's team finishing in 13
th place with 156 points.
Alyssa Discepola and Negar Tehranian-Torghabah competed in individual events on the women's side, participating in the 200 freestyle, 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke. Teharanian-Torghabah also competed in the 100 breaststroke while Discepola competed in the 100 freestyle.
The three-day event featured 13 schools. The men's team of
Mateo Kozomara, Steve DeNeergaard, Gabrial Craig and
Robert Juhas finished ninth in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:46.83, and the group of Djordje Stavrevski, Marton Dudok, Kozomara and Juhas finished ninth in the 200 Freestyle with a time of 1:34.60.
