CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Salem University men's tennis team swept West Virginia State 7-0, Sunday night.
 
With the win, the Tigers jump to 2-0.
 
In doubles, freshman 
Sibi Junior Sahmaoro and freshman 
Ilia Peredero defeated Fulks and Cross 6-3 at No. 1, freshman 
Andrzej Urjasz and senior 
Eugene Bour won No. 2 doubles 6-0 against Jayasuriya and Fraley and freshman 
Bartosz Losiak and senior 
Antonio Shaw claimed victory over Walters and Fraley 6-1 at No. 3 doubles.
 
Pereders downed Mullins 6-2, 6-2 at No.1 singles, while Sahmaoro defeated Fulks 7-5, 6-1.
 
Urjasz won 6-1, 6-0 over Cross at No. 3, as sophomore 
Patryk Garwacki cruised past Jayasuroya 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4.
 
No. 5 and No.6 singles were won by sophomore 
Gregor Lainer (6-1,6-0) and Losiak (6-0, 6-0), respectively.
 
The Tigers are back in action Saturday as they travel to Charleston with the match set for 4:00 p.m.
