SALEM, W.Va. – The Salem University men's tennis team beat Shaw 4-2, Wednesday afternoon.
 
Shaw earned the doubles point to start the match with a 1-0 lead of the Tigers.
 
In singles, freshman Andrzej Urjasz defeated Leal 6-3, 6-3 at No. 1, while at No. 2 freshman Bartosz Losiak downed Makambwa 7-5, 7-5.
 
Sophomore Patryk Garwacki earned a 6-2, 6-3 win against Nino at No. 3, while freshman Sibi Junior Soumahoro picked up the final win over Munoz 6-1, 6-0 at No. 6 to the Tigers the 4-2 win.
 
The Tigers host Davis & Elkins Thursday at 12:00 p.m.
