Salem's 5-7 record so far this season includes a 4-2 mark against non-Division I opponents. This weekend features two rematches for the Tigers. Salem defeated Monmouth 20-11 September 10 and fell to Gannon 16-10 September 14.
Michael Rojas leads the Tigers in scoring with 26 goals and 21 assists, while
Milos Popovic is next with 22 goals and 17 assists. Both Rojas and Popovic were among this year's MAWPC West Region Preseason Players To Watch.
The Tigers have seven players who have reached double figures in goals scored this season, including four in double figures in both goals and assists. In addition to Rojas and Popovic, Rober Juhas has 15 goals and 16 assists to place him one point ahead of
Petar Leontijevic with 15 goals and 15 assists.
Adam Hudson has 13 goals,
Salvador Orozco has 12 goals and Saequon Miller has 10 goals.
Freshman goalkeeper
Julen Alonso, who won MAWPC Rookie of the Week for the Week of September 10-16, has 113 saves this season.
The Tigers posted a 5-2 conference record last season and reached the final of the MAWPC West Region Post-Season Tournament.
