SALEM, W.Va. — Salem University men's water polo earned national recognition as Marko Zivojinovic and Danko Kesic were honored by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) as part of the 2025 NCAA Division II Men's All-America Team.
Zivojinovic was named to the ACWPC First Team, becoming one of just eight players nationwide to receive first-team distinction. Kesic was selected as an Honorable Mention All-American, further highlighting Salem's presence among the nation's top Division II programs
A key leader for the Tigers throughout the season, Zivojinovic delivered consistent high-level performances against top competition, earning recognition alongside standout players from Concordia Irvine, Biola, Fresno Pacific, Gannon, and McKendree. His first-team selection places him among the elite athletes in Division II men's water polo.
Kesic's honorable mention selection reflects his impact as a reliable offensive contributor and all-around performer for Salem. His recognition adds to a strong season in which the Tigers competed against some of the top programs in the country.
The ACWPC All-America teams are selected by collegiate water polo coaches nationwide and honor the top student-athletes across Division II based on performance, impact, and sportsmanship.
