SALEM, West Virginia - Even though their season is technically already underway, the Salem men's wrestling team was recently included in the Mountain East Conference preseason men's wrestling coaches poll. The Tigers were selected 7th in their first season of conference membership, and will look to make a big impact in their debut.

In their opening weekend of competition, Salem got some strong showings at the Glenville State Invitational. Riley Curran opened up well winning his first bout. David Makupson and Seth Holt also made strong showings by picking up bounce back wins after falling in the opening rounds of competition.

The Tigers get onto the mat for the first time ever at home tonight. They host the Fairmont State Falcons in T. Edward Davis Gymnasium at 7 PM.
