Salem University delivered a commanding performance on the mat, rolling past Davis & Elkins by a final score of 66–12 with bonus points throughout the lineup.
The Tigers opened the dual with momentum at 125 pounds, as Ethan Moore collected a forfeit to put Salem on the board. After Davis & Elkins picked up a fall at 133, Salem quickly regained control and began to separate.
At 141, Elijah Hunter sparked the Tigers with a fall over Benjamin McComas at 2:39. Following a forfeit at 149, Salem went on a decisive run, winning seven of the final eight bouts with authority.
Seth Holt needed just 58 seconds to secure a pin at 157, and Seth Thomas followed with another fall at 165. Salem continued to pour it on as Clayton Downs (174) and Landon Ristoff (184) each earned falls in under two minutes.
At 197 pounds, Iran Love dominated his matchup, scoring a 21–6 technical fall to add to the Tigers' growing lead. Salem closed the night in emphatic fashion at heavyweight, where Mikey Lytle pinned Aidan Maldonado in just 28 seconds.
With seven falls, a technical fall, and two forfeits, Salem University showcased its depth and finishing ability in the 66–12 victory. The Tigers will look to build on the strong performance as they head into their only home matchup of the season this week, when they host Wheeling, Emory and Henry, and Seton Hill on Thursday, February 12th.
