The Tiger tennis squad has been busy as the transition from winter to spring has begun. Over the past three weeks, Salem has been traveling all over greater West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania getting back into the swing of tennis season.

The Tiger's first matchup of the month came against Bloomberg where Salem went 1-6. The Tiger's lone win on the afternoon was claimed by Skander Mezouar.

Next up for the Tigers was another road contest. This time against Ashland University in Ohio. This one came down to the wire, but Salem was unable to come away with a win losing 3-4. Mezouar came away victorious once again along with Pablo Noya and Pablo Guillen who both claimed their first win of the month.

Following their matchup against Ashland, Salem hit the road for Buckhannon, WV to take on the Davis & Elkins Senators. Salem was once again close but unable to get over the hump in another 3-4 loss. The pairing of Guillen and Mezouar was clicking on the court in their doubles win. Moving over to singles play Salem was able to grab a few wins for themselves. Noya, Mezouar, Guillen, and Elias Hort all walked away victorious in their matches.

Salem took their talents to West Virginia Wesleyan for their next matchup of the season. This time, the Tigers struggled to string together wins after having success against Davis & Elkins and Ashland. The Tigers went 1-6 on the afternoon with their lone win coming at the hands of Noya in singles play. Salem was also able to nab a doubles win with the pairing of Noya and Daniel Paipa.

The Tigers rounded out their recent road trip at the University of Charleston where Salem came home winless.
