Full 2024-2025 Salem Women's Basketball Schedule
SALEM, West Virginia - The off season work keeps plugging along in the Valley of Learning, and that has been especially true for Salem Women's Basketball. Fresh off their USCAA Division I National Championship this past March, the Tigers are looking to build their tough yet fruitful 2023-2024 season. One big step in that preparation process is the reveal of the 2024-2025 schedule, which the program released on Monday.
The Tigers kick off the season with a brand new event, the Tiger Tipoff Classic. Similar to the Joe Manchin Classic events that opened Salem basketball seasons for most of the 1990s and 2000s, the Tiger Tipoff Classic will feature Salem playing host to Bob Jones University, Southern Virginia, and Penn State Greater Allegheny for a 4 game exhibition showcase event on November 1st and 2nd. The Tigers will square off with Penn State Greater Allegheny on the Nov. 1st, and then Southern Virginia on November 2nd.
After the exhibitions, the Tigers will open the regular season on the road at Indiana University of Pennsylvania on November 8th, then will take on Bloomsburg in the showcase event hosted by Indiana (PA).
The Tigers remain on the road for a contest with former GMAC foe Cedarville on November 13th before opening their regular season home slate with Slippery Rock on November 16th, and Walsh on November 17th.
