HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (March 5, 2018) – The Salem University Tigers men's tennis team was shutout Monday morning by Newberry College, losing 9-0 on the second day of the Hilton Head Spring Fest.
Landon Schultz-Zwahr and
Ivan Arevalo put forth the Tigers' best effort in doubles, falling 8-4 for only their second loss in the past six matches.
With the loss, the Tigers drop to 4-8 on the season. They will continue play in the Hilton Head Spring Fest on March 7 against Tusculum College.
