AIKEN, S.C. (April 6, 2018) — The Salem University Tigers men's tennis team lost on the road to the No. 19-ranked University of South Carolina Aiken Pacers 9-0 at the USC Aiken Tennis Complex.
The Tigers were swept in doubles, with Gregor Lainer and Patryk Garwacki putting up Salem's best fight in an 8-4 loss to Tales Silva and Alex Sklizovic in the No. 1 spot. The Pacers carried the momentum over to singles, winning all six matches.
With a third consecutive loss, Salem drops to 7-14 on the season. USC Aiken improves to 12-5. The Tigers will travel to Raleigh, North Carolina on April 9 for a match against Shaw University at 1 p.m.
