Box Score Arianna Villalobos scored the winning goal with 1:54 left in overtime as Salem University picked up its first win of the season with a 2-1 victory over Lincoln University in NCAA Division II women's soccer Wednesday at Lincoln, Pa. The Tigers recorded a season-high 17 shots, including 14 on goal.
After spotting Lincoln the first goal of the contest at the 17:11 mark, Salem (1-6) wasted little time to even the match.
Tamara Queiroz scored the equalizer just 90 seconds later off an assist by Sophia Wartmann.
The Tigers recorded seven of their 10 first-half shots after Queiroz's goal, but Lincoln goalkeeper Lena Rodriguez recorded a save on each shot as the two teams went into halftime tied 1-1.

Chelsea Cordice, who leads the nation in total saves, recorded three saves in a span of eight-plus minutes starting in the 79th minute to keep the match even and force overtime.
Lincoln had the first two shots of the extra period and held Salem without a shot until the 97th minute. Queiroz nearly ended the match with a pair of shots 68 seconds apart, but Rodriguez recorded saves on both shots.
Villalobos' first three shots of the match were all on goal and all stopped by the Lion goalkeeper. The fourth time proved to be the charm as she sent the Tigers home victorious.
Queiroz led Salem with six shots, including five on goal.
Kora Milne joined Villalobos with four shots, all on goal. Cordice finished with four saves for the Tigers.
Salem returns to action Saturday evening as the Tigers travel to Buchanon, W.Va., to take on West Virginia Wesleyan College. Match time is 7 p.m.
