Buckhannon, WV- Salem University Track & Field co-hosted its first ever meet on Saturday, hosting with West Virginia Wesleyan College. The Tigers had a hand in hosting the annual Jasmine Claggett Memorial Invite.

Delmar Jeter led the way for Salem throughout the day. Jeter notched a third place finish in the triple jump with a school record leap of 13.10 meters, and also accomplished a season best in the long jump to take 7th.
Carr managed season bests in the long and triple jump placing 6th in the long jump, and 5th in the triple jump. Carr finished out the day with a huge school record of 56.61 in the 400 hurdles.
Track & Field will be back in action on the 17th of April when they travel to the University of Charleston for the Golden Eagle Invite.
