SALEM, West Virginia - Before completely moving on to the preparations for the 2025-2026 seasons for Salem Athletics, there is still time to take a look back at all the highlights from all 14 varsity sports for the Salem University Tigers.

  • Men's Water Polo

    • The Salem Tigers men's water polo team capped off a landmark 2024 season with a 20–4 overall record, a Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) Championship, and their second-ever trip to the NCAA Tournament. Under head coach Rob Bullion—named WWPA Coach of the Year for the second time—Salem dominated the Division II landscape, going undefeated in WWPA regular-season play and sweeping through the conference tournament in Irvine, California. The Tigers defeated UC Merced, Biola, and Concordia in the postseason to claim the conference crown. Senior utility standout Nikola Krstonosic led the charge, earning ACWPC Division II Player of the Year and the prestigious NCAA Elite 90 Award. He was joined by junior Marko Zivojinovic, a First Team All-American, and standout goalkeeper Duarte Costa, who earned All-America honorable mention. The Tigers' season concluded in the NCAA Tournament with a hard-fought loss to top-seeded UCLA, but Salem cemented itself as one of the nation's premier small-college water polo programs, setting the stage for continued success in 2025.
