CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — The Salem University Athletics Department is proud to announce a new broadcast partnership with 92.7 WGIE FM of Clarksburg, West Virginia, to carry select Salem home men's and women's basketball games during the 2025-26 season.

WGIE 92.7 FM, known throughout North Central West Virginia for its classic hits format and commitment to covering local sports, will provide live play-by-play coverage, bringing Tiger basketball to fans across the region. The broadcasts will feature in-game commentary, halftime analysis, and post-game recaps, ensuring listeners experience the excitement of Salem basketball even when they can't be in the stands. WGIE is also the broadcasting home of the Grafton High School Bearcats. 

WGIE 92.7 FM reaches listeners across Harrison, Marion, Taylor, Doddridge, Upshur, and other surrounding counties, and also streams live at https://www.wgie927.com/, making Salem basketball accessible to a broader audience. The full broadcast schedule will be announced prior to the start of the season.
