SALEM, WV - Senior Trent Dalton (Logan, West Virginia / Logan) from the Salem International University baseball team has been named the Male Student-Athlete of the Week for April 24-May 1, 2017.

Dalton finished his four-year career with the Tigers on Saturday night (Apr. 29) against Bluefield State College. He went 2-for-3 at the plate with a pair of doubles and a run scored in the Tigers' game one victory (5-3). He would continue by going 2-for-3 with a pair of runs scored in game two as the Tigers defeated the Blues 10-4.

Earlier in the week he recorded a pair of hits at home against Glenville State College. Dalton entered the second game as a pinch-hitter and went 1-for-1 with a single through the right side.

Dalton hit .600 through four games for SIU while scoring three runs and recording an .800 slugging percentage and .600 on base percentage.
