The Salem University men's and women's track and field teams compete in their final indoor meet of the season as the Tigers travel to Edinboro, Pa., this afternoon for the Edinboro Open. The meet gets underway at 3 p.m.

At the Tiffin Open two weeks ago, Asia Hines and Indira Rauf both placed among the top seven out of 62 runners in the women's 200 meters. Hines finished second and Rauf placed seventh. Rauf earned ECAC Rookie of the Month honors for January after posting wins in the 55 meters, 200 meters and long jump.
 
Greg Carr narrowly missed a top 10 finish in the long jump at the Tiffin Open. Carr placed 11th out of 45 competitors. Mario Ospina also recorded a top 20 finish, placing 17th out of 66 runners in the 3000 meters.
 
Salem is idle next weekend and then begins its 2020 outdoor season March 6. The Tigers open at the Golden Eagle Invite, hosted by University of Charleston.
