Indira Rauf placed in the top seven in the women's 200 meters and
Greg Carr narrowly missed a top 10 finish in the men's long jump as members of the Salem University men's and women's indoor track and field teams competed in the Tiffin Dragon Saturday at Tiffin, Ohio. The meet was hosted by Tiffin University.

Hines finished second out of 62 runners in the 200 meters with a time of 26.17 seconds, just 0.31 seconds out of first place. Rauf placed seventh with a time of 27.06 seconds. Rauf also competed in the 55 meters and the long jump.

Carr placed 11th out of 45 competitors in the long jump with a distance of 6.22 meters. He came within 0.01 meters of breaking into the top 10. Carr also competed in the 60 meters and the 200 meters.

Mario Ospina posted a time of 9:35.16 to finish 17th out of 66 runners in the 3000 meters.
Isaiah Harris finished 31st out of 74 runners in the 800 meters with a time of 2:08.29.
Xavier Engleton placed 34th out of 90 runners in the 200 meters with a time of 24.24 seconds.

The Tigers are idle next weekend and then complete their regular season indoor schedule February 21 at the Edinboro Invite in Edinboro, Pa.
