Salem University Athletic Hall of Fame
A native of Capmanville, West Virginia, Chryssofos came to Salem after an impressive career at Logan High School. She made an impact immediately, as she made 12 starts in her first year as a catcher and utility player for the Tigers. In the next three seasons, she would earn all-conference honors three times (2 All-GMAC and 1 All-ECAC), 2016 First Team All-American honors, and the 2016 Great Midwest Athletic Conference Player of the Year award. To date, she is still the all-time leader for Salem softball in most hitting categories, such as home runs, slugging percentage, walks, total bases, and on-base percentage.
